Dr. Shashika Peiris is a dedicated and experienced Emergency Physician with an extensive educational background, including a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS Medicine) from the University of Peradeniya and a Doctor of Medicine (Emergency Medicine) from the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine in Colombo, Sri Lanka. She has undergone two years of comprehensive overseas training in Emergency Medicine at Rockhampton Hospital, Queensland, Australia.
Dr. Shashika has a strong background in patient care and a commitment to advancing the field of emergency medicine. Her career objective is to contribute to developing emergency medicine in Sri Lanka through training and research. Her interest in teaching, especially in POCUS, demonstrates her commitment to providing immediate patient care and sharing her knowledge and expertise with fellow healthcare professionals.
