Dr. Nilanka is a Registrar in Emergency Medicine at the Post Graduate Institute of Medicine (PGIM) of Sri Lanka. She holds additional postgraduate qualifications in Sports Medicine and Medical Physiology. She has been selected as an IFEM Emergency Medicine Trainees Special Interest Group member in the International Federation of Emergency Medicine. She actively participated in several international abstract presentations, conferences, training programs & workshops. She is an emerging champion in the "Young Faculty Presentations" at the South Asian Collaborative for Emergency Medicine (SACEM) Inaugural Conference. She is proficient in multiple languages & enthusiastic in motivational talking & public speaking. Currently, she is involved in patient management, multiple landmark research projects, teaching, and ultrasound accreditation, and she is interested in organizing events and volunteering.
