He is an attending physician of Taipei Medical University – Shuang Ho Hospital, New Taipei City, Taiwan. He was the chairman of emergency ultrasound committee of Taiwan Society of Emergency Medicine from 2012 to 2016 and responsible for the education and promotion of emergency ultrasound. He was also the former Director of Emergency Ultrasound Training Centre, Shin Kong WHS Memorial Hospital. He has been responsible for the critical care ultrasound training, education and workshops for Taiwan Society of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine since 2015 and he worked as instructor & course director of WINFOCUS. He has more than 20 years of experience in EMPOCUS. Dr. Chen is a famous international lecturer and researcher on Emergency Point-of-care Ultrasound and Intervention.
